some of you may have noticed that i changed the name of my blog, well thats because i had my baby! i had him on August 13th. I was induced early at 37 weeks due to a life threatning condition called Preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is serious and alhamdulilah they detected it otherwise it would have seriously affected me and my baby. I recovered from preeclampsia after 7 days in hospital, and my prince was untouched by it alhamdulilah. We named him Abdel Rahman and he was so tiny at delivery.. still is but hes putting on weight steadily thanks to his love for breastfeeding, oh yah and im a breastfeeding mum which i must admit im so proud of, up until delivery i found breastfeeding to be intimidating and challenging, but here i am doing it almost all day and i couldnt be happier that hes getting the best form of nourishment. to sum things up, being a new mom is hard work but rewarding and i love my prince sooo much. being a mum is something amazing i must admit, it brings me satisfaction and a sense of purpose.. and no hes not a quiet baby, not even when hes sleeping haha. so i got a handful of an adorable son mashallah. :)

Alhamdulillah! I am glad that everything went so well even with the Preeclampsia and that they caught it early. Glad you're enjoying nursing and spending time with your little man. It is demanding, but enjoy it because it goes by so fast! Everyone will tell you that, and it is completely true.
Congratulations!! I'm happy they detected the preeclampsia early and that you both are safe and sound. Again, mabrook!
