How I found out I was pregnant

It all started on a day which I cant even remember the date, but it was a normal day for me, just another day, I decided I needed to go to the doctor to get some things checked out, but pregnancy was not one of them. I was a couple of days late for my period but that was my period pattern all the time, spontaneous and never came on time I did not think much of it. I sat quietly waiting for my turn, but then I felt hungry for some chips so I went to the local takeaway shop and ordered some hot chips with loads of ketchup. Wasnt enough, so I ordered another one. I went back to the doctor and it was my turn, so she told me she could not offer me any medication until she knew if i was pregnant or not. So she asked me to do a pregnancy test, to which I responded "how long will this take" as i was in kind of a rush. So I agreed to do it and I drank some water and then I had to pee. I handed the test to the receptionist and waited for her to call me. In my head the whole time, I was thinking "I dont think so, shes going to tell me its negetive and Im going home to cook." My Husband calls me and I tell him that I need to do a pregnancy test. Anyway I waited and waited then she said my name and waited for me in the room. Then and there I knew by the look on her face that I was pregnant. She did not need to say anything but she was smiling ofcourse and she said its positive. "Oh Ok...." I replied. "Is that what you wanted?" "yeah.." in my head I was thinking No way, How DID THIS HAPPEN?  well not really how did this happen, but how could this happen. I just remember feeling very very shocked and scared. How could I be a mother, How am I going to be a mother? I'm not ready for this!! Now is NOT the time! then I started crying. I crossed the road without looking and realised I did not know where I was walking, then I went back, cried as I walked, ran home in a panic. When I got home I washed my face and calmed down, then I felt numb but I needed to cook for my hubby so I did that then he calls me and asks me so what did the doctor say? She said Im pregnant.. then I hear nothing but silence, then "are you sure?"...Me: "yah." He comes home and looks at me weird like he doesnt belive me but seems happy. We ate at the table where I had some chips and he says "baby is gonna love chips." I just felt like throwing up at that time and the smell of the chicken turned my stomach. Yep I was pregnant!
